Browse version history 0.0.1 — 0.0.22

· Windows Latest

0.0.27 · See progress right away and keep adding matches

  • When no task is running, an accepted task opens Home with the player, map, and progress. Cancelling or a failed submission keeps your current page, and background tasks never pull you away.
  • Add more tasks without leaving your page. See how many tasks are ahead and choose View progress when you need it.
  • A completion notice offers Play now while new-video badges stay in your library. Personal highlights, death reviews, and weapon highlights share the same feedback.
  • Includes the lighter temporary-file cleanup entry, improved spacing, and rounded keyboard focus indicator.
  • Home update cards use complete, concise copy and larger artwork at the top right. Statistics labels stay centered inside the orbit in smaller windows.

Update from 0.0.25 or 0.0.26. Your videos, account, and video settings are kept.

· Windows

0.0.26 · A lighter cleanup entry with more room to breathe

  • Recording temporary files now appears directly on the settings page, without the large gray background.
  • More space around the clickable area, clearer text and arrow feedback, and a rounded keyboard focus indicator in both themes.

Website publication rolled back during the full-download check. These cleanup improvements are included in 0.0.27; use the newer release.

· Windows

0.0.25 · Clearer update results and safer temporary-file cleanup

  • Manual update checks clearly show whether you are up to date or a newer release is available. A check already running in the background also shows its result when requested.
  • Storage and cleanup counts raw frames and recording logs, action scripts, assembly lists, and temporary settings from completed tasks. Review the scope and estimated space before clearing files.
  • Full videos, individual clips, covers, video details, demos, and account data are kept. Failed-task logs and unrecognized files are kept too. Cleanup waits until recording and queued tasks finish and CS2 is closed.

Includes the recording audio improvements from 0.0.24. Plans, recording settings, and payment behavior are unchanged.

· Windows

0.0.24 · More reliable audio during long recordings

  • More stable audio buffering and background sound handling help prevent CS2 audio errors from interrupting recordings. Game sound and selected team voices remain enabled.
  • Your game settings are restored afterward. Resolution, frame rate, video quality, and selected highlights stay as you chose them.
  • The update dialog and home update card explain the fix with real CS gameplay and the established pastel feature illustrations. Watermark, upgrade, and payment guides are included.

Includes the clearer watermarks, upgrade action, and return after payment introduced in 0.0.23.

· Windows

0.0.23 · Clearer watermarks and a smoother return after upgrading

  • A larger, bolder watermark subtitle uses Highlight Lime with a dark outline and soft shadow for bright and dark scenes. English text and the rotating website address get the same treatment.
  • When free videos run out, a prominent upgrade card and main action open the existing membership checkout while keeping your video settings saved.
  • Only when free videos run out, neutral settings controls put the upgrade action first. Normal creation and the post-upgrade view keep their original theme styling.
  • After the server confirms payment and benefits sync, checkout closes automatically and a success notification appears. If syncing fails, retry without paying again.
  • The update dialog and home update card cover the improvements with the established pastel feature illustrations. The watermark illustration shows the actual CSTV mark.

The new watermark applies to newly exported videos. Export an existing video again to update it. Plan prices, payment methods, and next-month free video resets are unchanged.

· Windows

0.0.22 · More reliable updates and quieter background activity

  • Large downloads use less memory, retry temporary network failures, and resume when supported by the server. Continuing downloads are no longer limited to ten minutes.
  • Failed retries clean up download resources. Installation still waits for recording and queued work.
  • Nonessential refreshes and animations pause while the app is minimized or hidden. Recording and encoding continue.
  • Reusing parsed clip information reduces repeated work when filtering and displaying large libraries.

If an older version times out while updating, download the latest installer and install over it. Your account, settings, and saved videos stay intact.

· Windows

0.0.21 · Better long-session performance and installation compatibility

  • Fixed repeated Steam initialization that caused memory growth. Opening CSTV again brings the existing window forward.
  • Demo parsing and file checks run in the background. Unchanged demos reuse cached results, and recording batches adapt to available disk space.
  • CSTV tests hardware H.264 encoding before using it and falls back to the CPU if needed. Finished videos need fewer repeated encoding steps.
  • WebView2 and the VC++ runtime are included for offline setup. Rounded sign-in controls, the full QR code, and feature-tour artwork and actions are restored.

The frontend split tested in 0.0.19 was withdrawn after it affected sign-in styling. Performance fixes shipped in this release. No separately verifiable public release record was found for 0.0.20.
