Help and troubleshooting
CSTV Support Center
Having trouble importing demos or recording clips? Start with these checks for your demo folder, CS2, and video output folder.
Before you begin
- Make sure Counter-Strike 2 is installed and opens normally.
- Check your demo folders and video output folder in CSTV settings.
- Make sure you have enough free disk space. We recommend an SSD.
Signing in and managing your plan
Scan the sign-in QR code with WeChat and confirm on your phone. If the code expires, refresh it and try again. Never share payment passwords, verification codes, or sign-in approvals.
Your plan is linked to the CSTV account you used to buy it. Lite supports 1 device, Pro supports 2, and Creator supports 3. If you reach the limit, remove an unused device in the app’s membership settings.
My demo isn't showing up
Check that your platform sync folder or demo file path is correct, then refresh the demo list in CSTV. Wait for downloads to finish before importing them.
Recording is stuck or the video is blank
- Check whether another screen recorder or overlay is interfering with CS2.
- Try recording again at the recommended resolution and 60 fps.
- Open the debug logs and save the entries from when the problem occurred.
- You can minimize CSTV and CS2, but keep CS2 running while recording.
An opponent's POV or voice chat is missing
To show both POVs, CSTV needs matching kill and death events in the same demo. Voice chat is available only if the demo includes the audio tracks.
What to include in a support request
Include your CSTV version, Windows version, demo source, and the steps that led to the problem, along with screenshots and debug logs. Never send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive account information.
Downloads and updates
Download CSTV for Windows from cstv.games. You can find supported features and system requirements on this site and in the app.
For paid features, check the plan details, price, and refund policy before buying.
