CSTV Plans and Account Access
Your plan belongs to the CSTV account you sign in with. Plans have different device limits and video creation features.
Purchasing and activation
After payment through the official purchase page, your plan is added to the CSTV account used at checkout. If it does not activate after payment, do not buy again. Contact Support with your order number so we can check it.
Plan duration
Each successful monthly auto-renewal payment adds one month. A monthly plan lasts one month, and an annual plan lasts twelve months. Your account page shows the exact start and end dates.
Linking a Steam account
Steam linking identifies players in demos. It does not transfer, copy, or merge paid plans.
Your devices
Lite supports 1 device, Pro supports 2, and Creator supports 3. Your PC is linked automatically when you first create a video. You can remove an old device in the app’s membership settings once every 24 hours, but not during video creation. An account can run only one video creation task at a time.
Internet access and free videos
An internet connection is required to verify your sign-in, plan, and device access when creating videos. Free accounts can create 3 videos each month. The allowance resets on the first day of each month in Beijing time (UTC+8). Each task can include multiple clips. Failed or canceled tasks normally return the reserved allowance. Tasks that exit unexpectedly without reporting their status count toward the allowance.
App updates
Version 0.0.4 and later check for updates at startup. You choose whether to install an available update. CSTV verifies the update signature and does not install updates while recording or running queued tasks. Users on version 0.0.3 need to install a newer version from this website first.
When your plan expires
Your account returns to free-plan features. CSTV does not automatically delete demos, clips, videos, or settings already on your PC.
