Review CS2 deaths and compare both player POVs
Compare both sides of a CS2 fight, review crosshair placement and timing, and organize weapon clips into focused montages with CSTV.

Review one question at a time
Look at crosshair height before contact, how much of your body was exposed, and whether a reload or weapon switch left you vulnerable. A few deaths reviewed for the same issue can reveal a useful pattern.
Demo playback is a reconstruction affected by recording data, game versions, and capture settings. A single replay frame is not enough to determine cheating or the original network conditions.

Match both POVs to the same fight
The useful comparison is the same event seen from two players, rather than unrelated rounds.
- Import the demo, select the player, and find the kill or death to review.
- Check the linked POVs and confirm that the round and timing match.
- Choose the HUD, X-ray, kill feed, and input overlays that help answer your question.
- Generate a short clip and compare positioning, crosshair placement, and timing before recording more.
Build a focused weapon montage
A weapon montage can help you review how you handle an AWP or rifle and gives a highlight reel a consistent theme. CSTV's library can filter existing clips by weapon, POV, tag, and format.
Keep enough context to understand a clutch. Showing only the last shot can hide the decision that made the round work.
Understand missing voice and POV data
Voice options cannot restore audio that the demo never recorded. If a POV is missing, check the selected player and linked event before changing export settings.
Both POVs, output quality, and watermark-free exports are separate plan features. Review the pricing page, and choose clear, useful footage over unnecessarily high settings.
Common questions
Can I record my opponent's POV?
Yes, when the demo contains the relevant player data, the event is linked correctly, and your plan supports it. Compare perspectives from the same fight.
Why is team voice missing?
The demo must contain the voice data. CSTV cannot recreate audio that was not recorded in the source.
Does a death replay prove someone was cheating?
No. Replays are useful for reviewing your play, but one frame is not enough to establish cheating.
